If it is normal on your aircraft to have the interphone in "hot", or always on, this headset may be too noisy for you. The microphone has noise-cancelling capability, but you will still get a fair amount of cockpit noise along with the rest of the audio. If the interphone channel is always on, it may become fatiguing, or annoying after a while.
